DAY 1 – Kampala: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early in the morning after breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up from the hotel and embark on a journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the second largest of Uganda’s national parks.

Queen Elizabeth is one of the most bio-diverse places in the whole world, home to many species of animals. On your entry into the park, enjoy game viewing as you travel to the lodge.

Dinner and Overnight at your lodge.

DAY 2 - Game Viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early in the morning, go for a game drive within the park to catch up with the early risers. Start with a game drive along Kasenyi plains where you are likely to be rewarded with various animals including water bucks, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, hyenas and a variety of antelope species.

Have lunch at Mweya and then go for a 2-hour boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos, buffalos, elephants other animals seen drinking at the water’s edge.

If you love birds look out for resident species like flamingos, red chest, papyrus Gonolek, pink backed pelicans, malachite kingfishers, yellow crown, water thick-knee, yellow billed stork, shoebill stock. Don’t forget your camera.

Return to your lodge for over night.

DAY 3 - Chimp trekking in Kyambura Gorge; Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park passing via the Ishasha Sector known for hosting the tree climbing lions.If lucky, see the tree climbing lions hanging within the fig trees within the acacia trees.

You will arrive in Bwindi Impenetrable national park in the evening. Relax at the lodge preparing yourself for the next day gorilla trek in the forest.

DAY 4 - Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After taking breakfast, our guide will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Getting to see the endangered mountain gorillas in this lush green forest means seeing our dreams come true!

The local guides will brief you about gorilla tracking and please follow the strict rules set to protect the mountain gorillas. Guided by a ranger, enter into the sanctuary and look out for the mountain gorillas. Upon seeing the mountain gorillas, you have up to one hour to watch the gorillas, take their photos!

After the trek, return to the lodge or take a local community tour within Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

DAY 5 - Relaxing and Community Walk.

After your late breakfast, relax as you do the recap for your trip have lunch at the lodge in the afternoon you start your walk.
This walk is located at the entrance of bwindi impenetrable national park just five minutes from your lodge. It is a three-hour Village Walk which leaves you with a life time experience of African culture with the people living close to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This Walk starts at Buhoma Community Rest Camp with the company of your guide and is very informative, as well as rewarding. You will be amazed at how resourceful these local residents are as you personally observe and learn their lifestyle. The First stop is seeing women make handicrafts while others weaving baskets at the community crafts center and there you can buy some of these, if time allows you can visit the pygmies and orphanage during your walk way.

DAY 6 - Return to Kampala

After breakfast, embark on a return trip to Kampala arriving late in the afternoon.
