DAY 1 - Scenic Views en-route to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, depart early for Queen Elizabeth National Park. We will drive through the western Uganda were you will have lunch in Mbarara town.

Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park. After checking in and having some time to relax, you will head for a late afternoon game drive. You often spot Elephants, waterbucks, warthogs, hippos and others.

DAY 2 - Game Drives, Launch cruise on Kazinga Channel

After a cup of coffee, embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track and Queens mile in the park and expect to see Lions, Elephants, cape buffalo, Warthogs, leopard, hyena, mangoose, waterbucks, Uganda cobs, Topi and lots many small animals and birds.

After lunch, enjoy the unique evening 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos and many animals may be seen drinking at the water’s edge. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing.

The prolific bird life is colourful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species.

DAY 3 - Bwindi Impenetrable Gorilla forest

After breakfast , Embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track and Queens mile in the park and expect to see Lions, Elephants, Cape buffalo, Warthogs, leopard, hyena, mangoose, waterbucks, Uganda cobs, Topi and lots of many small animals and birds.

After the game drive, proceed to Bwindi via Maramagambo and Ishasha sector. As you drive along the road via Ishasha sector, animals such as the waterbucks, elephant, antelopes, buffalo, kobs and you might be lucky and come across the tree climbing lions which can be seen along the road or better yet in the tree.

This park is the home of the rare mountain gorillas. There are also a wide variety of primates to see including the blue and red tailed monkeys in this dense green forest. You take an early sleep to be able to wake up early the following day for your expedition.

DAY 4 - Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Gorilla Forest

Very early in the morning after an early breakfast and guides and guides briefing, set off for your Gorilla tracking activity in the forests of Bwindi.

Gorilla tracking can be strenuous, you will need to carry a packed lunch, drinking water, wear comfortable boots or jungle shoes suitable for steep muddy slopes, put on ear plugs for those who feel uncomfortable with jungle sounds and take a rain jacket. Walking sticks will be made available for those that require one by the park rangers.

Return to the camp exhilarated to retrieve the encounter with friends over a drink. Dinner and overnight.

If you have the energy, go for a village walk, see how local people live, visit the medicine gardens and meet with a local doctor. Or go for the Batwa cultural walk.

DAY 5 - Travel back to Kampala

After breakfast, depart with a packed lunch for Kampala arriving in the early evening. OR There is an optional activity of chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura gorge in the morning before driving back to Kampala.
